I guess you have already seen lots of pics of the incoming LEGO Simpsons set, one of the most expected sets of LEGO since, well, ever...

Today I've found this Google+ post showing some pictures of the creation and design of LEGO Simpsons minifigures.

Having done a bit of miniature scupting myself, I find this pic set fascinating. Rather naively, I thought they would sculpt the minifigures in real size, as most miniature manufacures do, not in a bigger scale. I'd love to know more about the process...
