Hello world... too!

My geek blog is born... finally!

LostInBrittany

Hello everyone!

If you've been following my digital wanderings, you might remember the old LostInBrittany.org from years past. That was my everything-goes space – a mix of tech tutorials, hand-drawn art, TTRPG session reports, optical illusions, and 3D printing adventures, along with whatever random topic had caught my attention that week.

Then life happened, priorities shifted, and that beautiful mess went into hibernation. For years I focused on my family and my career: a startup, a burnout (I like to be candid about it), a wonderful DevRel adventure – speaking at conferences, writing about Kubernetes, Java, and web development, building communities and teams – yet another burnout, and finally my current position at Clever Cloud.

But here's the thing – as social media platforms become increasingly... well, let's just say "challenging," I've felt a growing need to return to what the web was meant to be: a place where we own our content, where algorithms don't decide who sees what, and where authentic voices can flourish without being squeezed into engagement-optimized boxes.

Some time ago, I decided to return to personal blogging after years of writing only for company blogs. That's when I launched LostInBrittany.dev for the professional content – development tutorials, DevRel insights, conference talks, and technical deep dives into Kubernetes, Java, and web technologies.

The thing is: I'm not just a developer. I'm a multi-passionate ADHD guy with way too many obsessions bouncing around in my head. And as I feel less and less happy about posting randomly on billionaires' platforms – Instagram, X, Bluesky, you name it – I feel compelled to re-open my own space to put all that content in writing, where it belongs.

So here we are: LostInBrittany.com – my space for the geeky, non-professional stuff. This is where you'll find:

  • TTRPG and miniature games: content, rules, adventures, campaign chronicles
  • Illustrations, both digital and hand-drawn art
  • 3D modeling and printing projects
  • Optical illusions and visual experiments
  • Random deep dives into whatever has caught my interest
  • And other assorted geeky obsessions

This space is intentionally separate from my professional blog because, let's face it, not everyone who wants to read about Kubernetes operators is interested in my latest dice addiction or my attempts to 3D print the perfect miniature. And that's perfectly fine!

Feel free to join me on this journey back to personal content creation. Whether you're here for the art, the games, the making, or just to see what random stuff I'm obsessing over this week – welcome.

Your thoughts and questions are always welcome. Let's see what we can build in this little corner of the internet.
